Hey friends! My name is Kaitlin Richardson — the face behind the flowers at Forever Wild. If you’ve made it this far on my site, you must be wanting to learn a little more about the crazy florist lady that may be flowering your wedding day! If that’s the case, welcome! Here’s a little blurb about my life, my background and my heart! It would be a joy to be a part of your wedding day!
For starters, I’m married to my best friend, Will, and we live in Birmingham, Alabama with our baby girl, Millie, and our Australian Shepherd pup, Harvey. When I’m not elbows deep in buckets of flowers, you can find me sitting in a coffee shop working on design plans, hiking / spending time outdoors, or curling up at home with a good book.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Public Relations at Auburn in 2016 (War Eagle!) while working for multiple event planning groups - most of which were concerts and campus events. After graduating, I spent the next year in a discipleship training program in Colorado that led to a season in Lebanon. I married my bestie in 2017, and shortly after that, I knew the Lord was calling me to a new career path.
After a lot of praying and dreaming, I started Forever Wild in 2017 as a way to use my God-given creative gifts, my events background and my desire to love on people all in one place. I love sitting down with a bride, hearing her dream for her wedding day and then bringing that unique vision to life. It has been a dream come true being able to use my creative gifts while also being a source of encouragement to brides as they enter into marriage!
My hope is that my work will always magnify the ‘forever wild’ beauty of God’s creation while bringing out the ‘forever wild’ and unique beauty in all of us!
